Q. Is this a school-based program?
A. No. This is a private childcare program offered off-campus at The 3D Lab located at 5 Stangl Road in Flemington. While RFIS is aware of our program, we are not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, the school district.
Q. What does the program cost and how do I pay?
A. Please see the price chart above for detailed pricing. Payments can be made via credit or debit cards by the 1st of each month. Pricing is a flat fee per month; there will be no pro-rating nor refunds for closures.
Q. How do my kids get to and from The 3D Lab?
A. The Lab's owner, Jessica, will arrive at school at dismissal and escort students from campus to The Lab on Stangl Road by foot. Parents must submit written consent to the school for their walkers to head to The Lab. We can provide a letter for you upon request.
Q. Do you offer any type of financial aid?
A. We purposely aim to be more affordable than other local programs. We do offer a 10% discount for a sibling (one full-rate, one discounted rate.) We will offer a special discount to one single mother each school-year. (Jessica used to be a single mom! Please contact her to discuss this in more depth.)
Q. What does 3D Lab aftercare consist of?
A. We'll have time for snack (parents may send nut-free snacks from home), homework (by choice), games, crafts, and, of course.....3D-printing!! We'll have outdoor time when weather permits.
Q. What happens during scheduled school closings? What about inclement weather?
A. The Lab will NOT offer childcare during school closures. This includes scheduled/unscheduled early dismissals, holidays, staff training days, etc. If the schools close for inclement weather, students must be picked up at school by a parent or guardian.
